Question about 2004 GMC Envoy

2004 GMC envoy passenger brake light

I tried changing the bulb and it's not it. The other two lights work on the same connection. I don't know what it could be. The wires seem not to be loose.

Check for a faulty tailight lamp/lens assy. GM CHEV / GMC had a large problem with the assy's sending letter to the owners ref to warranty replacement at the time. Hope this helps.

2006 GMC Envoy rear passenger brake light does not work. checked bulb working, checked fuse working what could it be

A few things....there are 2 fuse boxes to check, one in engine compartment, and one under back seat drivers side. 2nd, check and see if your socket is getting power. 3rd, there is a recall for the rear brake lights, so if all else fails, call the dealer with your VIN #.

The tail light fuse is under the rear seat on the drivers side.

Where is the brake lightfuse located at on my 2004 envoy xl

There is only one fuse for the brake light, so if the passenger side is working, the fuse is OK. You most likely have a bad bulb, bad bulb socket or a wire issue. The circuit board that all of the rear light are mounted to also has had problems in the past.
BTW - the fuses for the rear light are under the rear seat.

I have a 2004 GMC Envoy and the lights for the radio power/volume and presets 1 and 2 and the window controls for the driver's and passenger's windows are out. I am assuming that this is a fuse...

The illumination of these lamps is controlled by the BCM (Body Control Module) and there are numerous other similar lamps throughout the vehicle. It seems almost impossible for these few lamps to be out even after changing out the radio (don't understand why the instrument panel was changed). These miniature bulbs do go bad eventually, so I have no real answer fir your proble.

The passenger side brake light does not work. The bulb is good.

get a voltmeter and check the voltage reading at the connection point and work from there backwards if there is no power. Also you may need to check ground and continuity of wiring from one point to the other.Hope this helps.

R side brake light not working

Bad bulb or poor connection. Sometimes the inside of the socket corrodes, clean it up with a small emery board if there is any corrosion inside the socket. G/L
