My truck will start and then it will completely die. I already changed the fuel filter, relay, and the pump. What else could it be?

I can start truck when it is cold and runs ok until starts to warm up and idles down, then cuts off. Can't start again except with starting fluid and will only continue to run when that runs out if you...

Well not knowing what kind or year of vehicle it is. I'll take a generic stab here. If you've changed the pump and filter, and you're not running a mile of rubber line on this vehicle, then I'd say go after your fuel pump regulator. (easy way to check is if the vacuum line going to the FPR has gas in it when you take it off then the FPR is probably bad. Another thought is (with some helping hands) start the vehicle and while its just starting to run rough like it's going to die, press the scheader valve on the fuel rail and see if it has a good volume of gas coming out of it. if not then trace backwards to the FPR. it could also be the fuel pump relay under the hood, you should have 2 or 3 relays that are identical, try switching one around and see if it stays running. Hope this helps.

My truck wont start, changed the starter and battery?

Check the fuel filter. A completely plugged fuel filter will stop your engine cold by choking off the flow of fuel to the carburetor or injectors. The engine may not start, or it may start, then stall and die. Next most common problem is the fuel pump failing. Most modern electric fuel pumps can be heard when you turn the key on. If you don't hear the pump running and your car will not start, it could be your fuel pump. The first thing a mechanic will check is the relay which sends power to the pump. If this is operating correctly then the pump will have to be replaced.

I have a 2000 f150, while driving at 60mph it stalled. Fuel filter has been changed, pump is working. My truck wont stay running. Please help

Try wiggling the relays in the power distribution box under the hood, you may have a poor connection to the fuel pump relay. Also you should check fuel pressure. Also check the ignition, when your truck dies do you lose spark?

1997 chevy blazer truck won't start no nosie from fuel pump chang

Replace the fuel filter. It should be in line with the fuel pump on the inside of the frame on the driver's side forward of the pump. There should be 1 or 2 bolts securing the bracket in place. Leave them tight and remove the fittings on the front and rear of the filter. Fuel will begin to leak from the lines as you loosen them so keep you face safely away from that area. Once the fitting nuts are backed out completely, remove the bracket bolts and then the filter. Reverse the steps to reinstall.
