Question about 1994 Nissan Quest
I cant find my stater and how can i charge it?
2 hour job from top driver side of engine.
Starter Motor WARNING: WHEN SERVICING THE STARTER MOTOR OR PERFORMING OTHER UNDERHOOD WORK IN THE VICINITY OF THE STARTER MOTOR, BE AWARE THAT THE HEAVY GAUGE BATTERY INPUT LEAD AT THE STARTER SOLENOID IS "ELECTRICALLY HOT" AT ALL TIMES. A PROTECTIVE BOOT IS PROVIDED OVER THIS TERMINAL ON ALL VEHICLE LINES AND MUST BE REPLACED AFTER SERVICING. BE SURE TO DISCONNECT THE BATTERY GROUND CABLE BEFORE SERVICING THE STARTER MOTOR.

That indicator is on a cable. Most likely and most common when that doesn't work the plastic holder for the cable has snapped. You can buy a new indicator assembly to correct this. It comes with the cable and a new plastic holder.

You didn't say if you were looking for inner/outer or for one side or both so I'm going to give you inner and outer for both sides, because you should get them both done if you have one done. For the inner tie rod you should look to pay $200-350 and for the outer tie rods you should look to pay $175-275. Check out this website http://repairpal.com/. It is a great place to find out how much you should expect to pay for many common repairs. You will see a range and that is because it takes into account the small shops and the dealers.
