Hyundai Matrix will not start when damp EOBD codes P-1801 and P-1805

Hyundai Matrix will not start when damp. The engne turns over but no ignition. Been to a local garage and an EOBD analysis shows errors for P-1801 and P-1805. I believe this has something to do with the engine immobiliser? Anyone any ideas how to fix this

Yes... it's the immobilizer system p1805: Inconsistent data of EEPROM Invalid write operation to EEPROM Not plausible immobilizer indicator stored in the ECM No valid data from SMARTRA after 3 attempts by ECM Invalid tester message or unexpected requests by testerGo to http://www.hmaservice.com/ and register. My Hyundai Matrix car is not starting. When I turn the key to start the car it tumbles but won't turn on. I know that it is not the battery because we took the same battery and installed it into

got same symptoms with my hyundai matrix. Engine just stalled when car is not in motion (i.e traffic light, traffic jam), plus a cylinder misfire. I went online for some search (this site included). Then went for OBDII diagnostic.

Its the Crank Position Sensor/Crank Sensor/ CKP Sensor or whatever it is called. Had that replaced, and she's been back to well behaved since.

What's your problem?colour color code for Hyundai Matrix

The color code is on the driver door ; look on the door or on the post, if you open the door you will find a tag. on the tag there will be two codes, one for the body color and one for the interior color. these cars came in a few colors, check this site out, hope this ishttp://www.automotivetouchup.com/choosecolor/choosecolor.aspx?year=2003&make=Hyundai&model=Matrix helpful.

Hey, My hyundai tucson 2006 2.0 crdi 6speed , the eobd lamp blinks , what could this be ?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EOBD

EOBD is a European version of the OBD-II system found on North American cars.

Have the car scanned for codes to see what system has triggered the light.

Good luck on this repair.

Can i turn the abs off on my hyundai matrix had to enter the product wrong caus it wouldnt let me post it as the matrix

if u want to turn off the abs light on dash will need to have car scanned for problem most auto stores scan for free fixing problem will reset trouble light ---if u want to drive with out abs braking system[really not advisable] u can pull the abs fuse which will give u a trouble light on dash and in some cases[dont know what year matrix u have] the brake light and if u have traction control that trouble code as well

I have a 2000 accent. when the weather is damp, I get extreme misfiring which clears up after a couple of blocks. Similar to the old cracked rotor cap problem. Also have code P1123. Any help would be...

This problem of misfire in the damp is commonly caused by faulty HT leads or electronic coils. Check all plug leads first.

P1123 fault code is often associated with a faulty MAF on Hyundai cars. However first start at the air inlet tube, checking for obstructions or leaking vacuum hose which may also cause this code to show.
