Check ground wire, battery cables for tighness. If you don't have power at the starter when you use a test light, it's a fusable link in your pos. cable that's burnt.

First check the battery cables, and their connections. If they are OK, then check all fuses, there is one that says "Main". It is more than likely blown.

I suggest making sure you have a good ground cable and good connections on each end of the cable. Then check battery power with the truck running. You should have at least 13V at the battery with the truck idling.

1995 nissan pickup. When i start the truck none of the cab electrical works. the battery kept dying so i replaced it. it seems to be starting the engine ok but could the alternator be going out?

Put a voltmeter on the battery with the engine running. It should read at least 13.5 volts to know the alternator is working good. If it reads below 13 volts, it is not working good, may not be working at all.
What cab electrical circuits are not working? Or are they working now?
