AIR CONDITIONING COOLANT-USE OLD, OR CONVERT TO NEW COOLANT??

I HAVE A 1989 FORD LTD CROWN VICTORIA, THAT THE AIR CONDITIONING WORKS, BUT IT NOT VERY COOL.

I HAVE ACCESS TO THE OLD TYPE OF COOLANT FOR ABOUT $200 TO RECHARGE THE SYSTEM.

OR

SHOULD I CONVERT IT OVER TO THE NEW AIR CONDITIONING COOLANT... I HEAR THE KITS ARE ABOUT $30, NOT SURE WHAT IT WOULD COST TO PAY FOR IT INSTALLED AND THE COOLANT PRICES.

LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK I SHOULD DO... USE THE OLD COOLANT TYPE, OR CONVERT OVER TO THE NEW COOLANT???

THANKS FOR ALL HELP....KRIS

Please convert to the new one. It's a lot better and cheaper to maintain.
