Question about 2006 Toyota Sienna

Check engine Light

My 2005 toyota Seinna check engine light came on. When tested error codes P0300, P0301, P0302, and P0303 came up. The vehicle runs great with now noticable misfire. Fuel milage has not been effected. I have a similiar problem yesterday with my 04 toy sienna. Hubby is traveling a long way today to look for work. Took to local mechanic and said it could just be bad gasoline. Gave me a bottle of chevron gas treatment and told me to put a full tank of good gas along with the treatment....light no longer on and I am absolutely crossing my fingers that my husband does not break down in the middle of no where. Don't have the money to repair anything.....when it rains it pours. Could it be the gasoline he got at a cheap (pilot) truck stop last time be bad?

thanks everyone for your answer. I think it was a combo of bad gas, loose gas cap, a car wash, an oil change all on the same day! He made it to his job interview and will possibly get the job next week. I really appreciate all your help. Now does anyone know if you can attach a uhaul trailer hitch to a 2004 sienna or would it be better to tow a small uhual with a 95 buick (iron horse) lesabre?

P-0300 indicates a "multiple cylinder misfire".
P-0301, 0302, and 0303 indicates misfires on cylinders 1, 2, and 3.

The culprit could be bad gasoline, water in the gas, or dirty injectors. If you had P-0301-02-03-04-05-06, I would recommend plugs. But, in your case, I do believe that your issue IS fuel related.
I would not suspect ignition coils, as you do not have a P-0304 with the other 3 codes recorded. I hope this helps. Please feel free to get back to me if the problem reappears, for additional info.

Its nothing to worry. I had same with 2004 Sienna. Fortunatley I took to dealer who is actually a friend
and didnt try to rip me off. When gas cap is not put on tightly a couple of times, it sets off a
sensor. That is all. Mechanic reset "idiot" light and away I went. Will run fine without but may deactivate AWD skid control. Handles better without anyway.

Engine shaking while accelerating

check engine light on, code P0300 P0301 P0302 P0303 P0304 THIS ARE ALL MISFIRES, 300 is random, 301 cylinder one 302 cylinder 2 and so on, the evaluation is once apart check the spark plugs condition, if they look ok, replace coils and plugs. if the light is not on, verify it works by turning the ignition to pos 2, if not replace light, if yes, and this here are not the codes, read the codes and re send it, posible bad cylinders, or poor injector.

Getting codes P0341, p0300, p0301, p0302, p0303

P0300 is multiple misfire. The corrective action for this code would be to test your fuel pressure and the injectors. P0301, P0302, P0303 is saying in certain cylinders there is a misfire. There are two different engines so I wasn't sure which one you have and couldn't give you the correct testing procedures for the coils. P0341 is saying the camshaft position sensor readings are bad. Again I am unable to give you the correct tests to check this due to not knowing your engine size. Feel free to email me at csautomotivecars@att.net with detailed information about your vehicle and I will be happy to email you the testing procedures to narrow down the problem and help you solve it.

1996 lhs engine light is blinking

a blinking eng light usually comes with power loss and shaking as the vehicle is misfiring. Scan the vehicle's computer as this would give you a starting point. Codes P0300, P0301, P0302, P0303... would indicate misfires detected in particular cylinders inspect ignition components and repalce as needed
