Hi,
The problem would be the power window switch assembly! That switch controls the power to ur window motors! If u are a tinkering man, try to borrow from any garage/friend w/ the same window switch and test it!
Or
Go to ur service center and have them check it for free... they always try the new switch... and you will know the main prob!

The passenger's power window in the front,it doesn't work....Everytime I replace a new power window fuse, it burns ....why?....... Honda Civic 2002

If the window is jammed or there is short in the electrical supply to the motor winder then so much current will be drawn that the fuse will burn out. The only way to assess what is going on is to access the mechanism by removing the inner door panel. Try assisting with your hands the opening and shutting of the window. If it is very stiff to move try cleaning the window surround channels with an old tooth and detergent.

The window on a honda civic dose not have enoght power to go up, but it goes down fast

hello, try new switch, these power window motors seldom go out, i just replaced power window switches on a astro van, this lady had not rolled pass side window down in 2 years, put switch in a started working fine, if that dont work, you might have to replace window motor, get them at junkyard for 50.00 dollars. put them in is a different story.

96 Honda Civic 4 door sedan back passenger window doesn't work with master switch on drivers front door but it does work with the button on the back door. Also front passenger window doesn't work at all...

the wires at the door jamb connector get brittle and crack and break, causing all manner of oddities. and it can certainly be intermittent. like your window rolls down with the door open, but does nothing if the door is closed. wires may need to be repaired or replaced with that molex style plug/connector in the door
