A remote kill switch would be a switch that a mechanic installed, for an owner to prevent theft. It is a "poor mans alarm". If you know that it has a kill switch then you are there. You need to either hire a mechanic to find out what circuit the "kill switch" is integrated into and have it removed or do it yourself. But if you are referring to the "On-board" security system, I need to know exactly what you are working on. (Year, make, model, engine size)

I had my truck in for service and I thought they left my truck in valet mode, but after trying to reset remote starter I found one of the wires to kill switch is broke off. Can I bypass kill switch till I...

Since you're talking about a valet mode you are likely referring to an aftermarket remote starter system. Since you didn't provide details on the make and model of remote starter it's difficult to say whether or not the valet switch can be bypassed by some menu option or if you need to short the wires across the switch. Since apparently the vehicle is in valet mode currently due to the broken wire, that would suggest the switch is a Normally Closed type in which case the easy bypass is probably to cut the other wire at the switch, strip the wire insulation on both, and twist them together until you have a chance to get both wires soldered back on. If you go this route, but sure to insulate the wires.

I have a 2005 ford escape I put a kill switch to turn off my amp and my radio but now that I want to take it off the radio wont come one unless I have the kill switch wires connected any suggestions

Look this is a very very simple fix. You have what is called a remote wire coming from the radio is usually the red and or the yellow wire what's happened is your remote wire which allows memory to stay on the radio is ran to your switch. You must eliminate your hot wire to your switch and run a hot wire off of your factory plug in to the remote wire on your radio. This will fix this issue.

How do i install handlebar mounted kill switch in a chinese 72cc atc

replace the key switch as it is faulty
as to fitting a kill switch find a switch that the mount opens up so that the switch can be mounted without the necessity to remove anything off the handle bars take a wire from the key switch and run it to the kill switch and from the other terminal reconnect it to where it came from. This means that the power from the ignition switch now goes to the kill switch then back to where it was originally connected after the igition switch.

How to disable kill switch on a 97 camaro?

This all depends on what kind of kill switch, most kill switches operate by cutting a wire and running it through a switch, so locate the switch and remove the wires and connect them together, there should be a wire on each end of the switch, like a light switch, the switch connects them or disconnects them, so you will connect them,

Alarm is armed, and I dont have a remote.I need to manually dissarm the alarm or my car will not start

Open the door, the alarm will sound , go under your dash, normally installation techs will install a kill switch or alarm override button either in the drivers side kick panel to the left of were your left foot rests or inside the fuse box panel, under the steering column or by the center column somewhere but most likely the drivers kick is the spot. So open the door and find the kill switch or override button and put the key in the ignition turn it to the on position without cranking and press or toggle the switch after you turn the key, this should override the alarm and let you start the vehicle, otherwise you have to remove the alarm main fuse from the brain and rewire your starter kill to factory so that you can start your vehicle normally again until an alarm tech corrects the alarm wiring.

Good luck my friend, hope it is helpful.
