Question about 2000 Chevrolet Blazer
I just got a tune up on the vechile thinking that was the problem but i was wrong. While driving my truck will not cut off but it will only go up to 30 to 40 mph sometimes 50 then it slows back down...help
The things you may want to look at first is the fuel filter (if it wasnt replaced), the CAT (if it has over 100k miles or has been burinng oil), a cylinder compression test and check the timing. Does the truck idle smooth?Did the truck get a COMPLETE tune-up? And are the symptoms constant?

This sounds a lot like a couple of plugged torq converter cases I have seen. If the car is humming along (instead of quite, purr, or roar) and you lack power, then the converter is likely the problem
You can take the car to a muffler shop and have it checked. You CAN do it yourself, by cutting the exhaust pipe right before the converter, but you have to fix the exhaust RIGHT AWAY! This check leaves you sitting right over a Carbon di Oxide leak that could kill you.
