Question about 1990 Honda Accord

Keep blowing ECM fuse on 90 honda accord

The ECM fuse keeps blowing when I go into low idle while in Drive. Right now its missing every now and then because I am running a tank of old gas out (1 year old). The car will go to low idle, miss and die. It won't start cause the ECM fuse is blown. Any Ideas?

I'm thinking the ECM is bad and grounding out, causing the car to blow the fuse. The old gas wouldn't cause this problem.

96 accord v6 2.7 exhaust monitors wont reset

louie ramirez if the monitors are not resetting right away its because something was repaired recently to do with the emissions and a trouble code was erased or cleared to remove the check engine light .now there should be no more check engine light on but you have monitors blinking on your scanner right ,now to turn those monitors off all you have to do is drive the vehicle and monitor with a scanner some cars clear right away and some can take up to 500 miles before the monitors clear ,don't panic its this a typical normal procedure just drive it should clear soon and good luck.

94 honda accord cooling fan fuse keep blowing do i need to replaces fan or search for a bad wire

More then likely will have to replace fan motor, fan motor is weak and asking for to many amps to work, and that will over load and blow the fuse, if it was wiring the fuse would blow right away, replace fan motor.

1993 honda accord gets to about 5700 rpm and cuts out and looses power , have changed ditributer and still does it

It is most likely a governor built in the ecm to keep from blowing the engine, you would have to go to a speed shop to have the ecm programmed,

Idle wont sit still once the car is warm

is the check engine light on? if so,retrieve the code,to help point you in the right direction.check for vaccum leaks,if no light is on check obd ecm fuse maybe its burnt out ,and the light is on and you dont know it ,90 % of troubleshooting is observation, start the car open the hood and just look and listen, follow your wire harnesses, check all the connectors, listen for air leaks, observe fluid leaks you can also .check at night when is pitch black,to see wiring shorts and bad connections you dont notice in the daytime
