I have the same problem. Are the tabs holding the bulb in the socket broken? Splice in a used socket from a junked vehicle, or use some Gorrilla (R) tape to hold it more firmly in the socket. It is stickier than duct tape.

SOURCE: headlamp malfunction

Your headlamps [lowbeams] work with the alarm system under the passenger seat. Any malfunction with the alarm devices under the seat will interfere with your headlights [lowbeams] functioning . I used to have the same problem with mine until I changed my alarm devices. I will advice you to go to a junckyard near you and remove the passenger seat from an 84-89 300zx and with a 14mm socket remove the seat, then; used a 10mm socket to remove the alarm devices. Do not worry, the wirings are the same on all of them. Good luck!

SOURCE: I need to change the headlamp on my 2006 Maxima - driver side.

The drivers side is the one I have changed which is pretty simple. Remove the air filter and compartment and you can access it from there. Apparently the passengers side requires the removal of the washer bottle.

2006 gmc envoy day time running lights and low beams not working

You very well could have a couple of faulty relays 45 & 46 in the underhood fuse / relay box . Could also have DTC'S - diagnostic trouble code's stored in the BCM - body control module .
DTC B2575 Headlamp Control Circuit
When the body control module (BCM) senses a request for headlamp or daytime running lamp (DRL) illumination, the BCM sends a pulse width modulated (PWM) ground signal to the low beam headlamp driver module through the low beam headlamp driver module control circuit. The low beam headlamp driver module will illuminate the headlamps, adjusting the intensity based on the PWM signal received.
DTC B2585 Park Lamp Control Circuit
When the body control module (BCM) receives a ground signal from the headlamp switch commanding to illuminate the park lamps, the BCM will energize the park lamp relay by grounding the park lamp relay control circuit.
DTC B3802 Park Lamps Request Circuit
The body control module (BCM) monitors the park lamp switch signal circuit and the headlamp switch headlamps on signal circuit in order to determine when the park lamps and headlamps should be illuminated. When the headlamp switch is turned to PARK, the BCM senses that the park lamp switch signal circuit is grounded and the headlamps switch headlamps on signal circuit is open. The BCM will then energize the park lamp relay illuminating the park lamps. When the headlamp switch is turned to HEAD, the BCM senses that the park lamp switch signal circuit and the headlamp switch headlamps on signal circuit are grounded. The BCM will then energize the park lamp relay and headlamp driver module (HDM) illuminating the park lamps and headlamps.
relay # 46 is the HDM headlamp driver module .

I have a 1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue the heat is blowing hot on the passenger side but on the driver side the heat blows cold and also the headlights when the heat is not working do not work either did you...

This is for headlamps. There are head lamp fuses, hot all the time. So voltage to headlamps is hot all the time. Use a testlight to test. That means headlamp on and off is controlled on the ground circuit. The headlamp switch is part of ground circuit. In the diagram the top wire for each lamp is voltage, the bottom wire is ground. Check voltage and ground when problem is ongoing.
At the moment, not sure why the headlamps and ac effect each other? Always check voltage and ground.

Why do all lights work except low beam driver side head lamp?

Seems like if your other low beam is lit, there's something wrong with the new bulb. Make sure it's the exact type needed, and switch the working bulb from the pass. side to drivers side to check.

How do I change the headlight? (passenger side)

There are three screws that holds the head lamp in place, but first you have to remove the right side radiator cover, remouve the front grill (4 screws), remouve the head lamp lower trim (one screw behind the grill and cliped at the fender), then remouve the front grill mounting bracket (2 screws) then you'll finaly reach the 3 headlamp screws (2 on top and one behind the lower headlamp trim)
Good luck

How do you remove the head lamp assembly on a 1993

1. Make sure headlamp is off and open hood.
2. Taurus model years 1990-1999: you must remove the whole headlamp to replace the bulb. Not a horrible task. Just annoying.
3. Facing the driver's side headlamp, and looking at the headlamp itself, at clock positions 8, 11 and 1 are the headlight housing screws. They all look the same. Using a 10mm socket wrench, remove these 3 screws and set them aside.
4. Just to the right of the "11 o'clock" housing screw is a bolt (same hexagonal 10mm sized top as the housing screws). This just needs a few turns to loosen it.
5. Gently pull the whole headlight forward. Now you can get at the bulb.
6. Disconnect the electrical connector from the bulb. Now the headlamp is free to work with. Remove the bulb, replace with a new bulb, make sure the bulb housing cylinder is in place and reconnect the electical.
7. Place headlamp back into position. Line up screw holes. Tighten the bolt. Replace housing screws and tighten.
8. Passenger side headlamp is mirror image of driver's side. Screws at 11, 1 and 4 o'clock positions. Bolt should be to the left of the "1 o'clock" housing screw.

2003 GMC Drivers side head lamp

Yes there is. There is a high beam and low beam fuse for each headlamp. These fuses are located in the underhood fusebox. There is a diagram on the bottom of the cover that will help you find the fuse in question. Good Luck
