Question about 1988 Ford F 350
Truck stalled driving down the road. When it cooled off it started and drove again a short time. Now it will not start. Replaced the fuel pump with no luck. Truck is getting spark. Cleaned relay switch connections. Wondering if it is a relay switch or fuel pressure switch?
I had trouble like this with a 1991 fuel injected version of this engine. It was an intermittent problem and the relay could be re-energized temporarily by turning off the ignition and restarting. It was a fuel pump relay that needed to be replaced and has been ok for several years now.
