Question about 2001 Nissan Maxima

Maxima - terrible vibrations in low speed

My car (nissan maxima) started vibrating badly from this morning. It vibrates when I change from Park to drive or reverse and keep vibrating at low speed. When driving above 25 miles it is ok. What should be the issue?

A bad tire, a loose wheel, a loose tie rod end, a bent rim, (tire balance at higher speeds), a piece of rust or whatever caught between the rim and brake rotor, or between the brake rotor and hub. Have you done anything to it prior to this starting?

I had this issue and it was one of my winter tires about to blow out, showing signs of weakness.. hopefully this helps!

At that mileage, your engine mounts probably are bad and need to be replaced. They would cause the engine to vibrate the whole car, when in gear, if the mounts are worn and have too much play. Have them checked.
