Possibly the metal contacts in the starter have worn down and need to be replaced, I had that problem with my rodeo 90 model, had to keep clicking on the ignition key until it started, auto electrician said I need a recon starter $300+ dollars but I bought 2 new brushes $5 and put them in and had no more trouble

1991 honda accord starts intermittently. When it doesn't the gas guage goes below E. Gets spark, no fuel. Already changed main relay.

Hey man if you already changed out the relay i would try changing your fuel pump and sending unit that should stop both of your problems.

1999 rodeo wouldn't start has no spark I changed the crank sensor and the computer already still no spark

Check the wiring harness to the sensor and check the ignition control module.

Is the key icon on the instrument panel flashing when it wont start? If so it is likely the connector that routes the RFID present signal to the controller. wiggling the cables unter the steering column usually causes it to work. Damn Electrical connectors!

It sounds like it might be your throttle position sensor. Is your check engine lite on?

Have a 2004 Rodeo 3.5 Has 150+ miles intermittent start/stop/died

Sound like an alternator problem or loose connection on the charging system....theyre is a simple test you can do.....charge up the battery,start engine...mesure with an voltmeter betwen the baterie post it should read 13 -14 volt if not check for loose or coroded main wire and connector, blown charging system fuse....if you dont see anything then the alternator is most likely the cause

2001 isuzu rodeo has intermittent starting problems

check battery cables & terminals for tightness & corrosion.also check at starter.check starter bolts & actual starter for looseness.if no problems found your starter may be on its way time it happens hit starter with hammer or heavy object if it starts right up get ready to replace it.good luck
