Question about 1992 GMC Sierra K1500
My car died on me at a junction with no warning, it was like someone had switched the engine off. when i try to start it it won't fire-up. there is no physical parts broken from what i can see any suggestions what this may be and what to check.
First, check for a blown fuse( usually inside engine compartment or driver side kick panel. Next to check would be spark getting to the spark plugs( take one out , plug it to the cable, and set it touching bare metal on the engine; see if it sparks)(do not touch cable or spark plug while engine is on)( only do this for a few seconds)
then check the fuel pump(if it clicks when you turn on the car, usually on the back under the rear seat or trunk)
hope this works.
