I think its my water pump its boiling in my over flow the belt is gd but making noice its over heating how much would it cost to replace and wat would i have to do to replace it myself wat would i need

Unfortunately, Chrysler put the water pump in the worse place of any other car maker. The flat rate manual has it listed as a 6 hour job. So depending on what your mechanic charges per hour, you are looking at $300+ for labor and another $50+ for the water pump.

NOTE: Since you have to remove everything, it would be a great idea to replace the timing belt at the same time since it isn't more work.

Since we are limited on space on this web site, here is a complete how to with photos on how to do the job. http://www.sebringclub.net/diagrams/96-00-timingbelt-waterpump-replacement.pdf

My water pump for a honda balade 16v 1994 model is leacking please advise on the steps to follow and wat els should be replaced when changing it

All water pumps leak when they blow up, that tells you it is shot. Just get a new one and replace it, if you can see it on the front of the engine, you shouldn't need anything else, most water pumps are buried under the sheet metal and timing belts, Just be careful with the belts, takes notes as to how they go. Hope this helps.

Car is from 1987, a Subaru ,has a waterleak just after the fan, wat could be the problem?

If this LEAK is Just BEHIND the FAN (ON ENGINE SIDE this 1 Thermostat or 2 WATER PUMP, At This AGE I Would have to Bet On the WATER PUMP and if so Have the Thermostat Replaced at the SAME time this Will Help WINTERIZE it and Eliminate any Cooling System Related Problems.

Theres a weird noise coming close from the water pump..it sounds like its whistleling...wat is it??

Possibly the bearing has gone bad in the water pump. In which case requires replacement of pump, fluid, and thermostat.
