Question about 2003 Lincoln Town Car
The door ajar warning light on panel stays on when all doors are closed. Not only does the warning stay on and the light the alarm beeper goes off every minute. It's driving me crazy! I tried the WD 40 and the BP Blaster and nothing. Is changing the door ajar switch the only way to repair? I took it to the Lincoln dealer and the part is $8.00 but the repair is $228.00/hour minimum for repair. What a rip off. Any other suggestion?
Yes i agree with ripoff, If you are unable to do it yourself , then I suggest you go to a regular shop, and they should replace it with minimal cost, buy the part for eight dollars and bring it with you to the shop so that all you have to pay is labor, if it is really easy like i suspect you may not be charged at all, or even ask one of the guys if you give them a couple of bucks will they switch it real quick.
hey, I would do it..
