If its flopping around or feels loose you can try tightening the "hinge" that connects it to the roof and tightening the screws on the visor itself. That might align it enough to fit again properly.

Needs to be replaced by dealer. About $100. Not covered by warranty according to Central Kia, Plano, TX

Ok I will try this, although I remember looking at it and not seeing any screws in the vicinity. I'll be back.

sometimers the screws are covered by a plate so that it still looks nice. Pop the cover (assuming that there is one) and wala, tighten away, lol

Sun visor

Contact your local dealer. They will be able to get you a new visor. The part that holds it in the up postion is worn out and the only way to fix it is to replace the entire visor.

Need to kmow, how to place back sun visor, toyota venza 2009??

Sun visor has a hole in it. Just slide it over the mounting rod carefully aligning it straight to the far end of the rod to the left. It would probably be easier if you removed the whole mounting rod assembly to align it.

I need to replace the passenger side sun visor....how?

I think you are talking about the sun visor for the windsheild, most cars of this erra the visor is held in place by 3 screws. after you take them out if there is some kind of light there will be a plug to unplug.

Driver's side sun visor won't stay in place. Can this be repaired and not replaced totally?

You need to replace it. Don't do it with another 2002 sun visor. I did and guess what, it did it again. I also had it replaced once by the dealer when under warrenty. Its a bad design.

In the end I replaced it with a sun visor from a 2004 (I think) model. I got lucky and found someone selling new sets on e-bay. It is a new design so you should replace both so they look right but they fit. As an extra bonus it also had a memo recorder along with the home link and the new visor slides out to give you better coverage than the '02 model. Best of all, the defect that causes the visor to slowly tilt down has been corrected. After 2 years, it's still working.
