NO sound from radio being on

I have a 2004 dodge durango with a infinity system. The radio is on, showing that it is playing however I have no sound at all. What could this be?

I took my durango to the car dealership and they preformed diagnostic test and it came back that the amp blew out. So now I have replace it for $350 parts/labor not including the diagnostic testing charges.

Cable from radio going to speakers loose or disconnected, also the radio inside has a fuse that might be blown, not allowing the sound to come out

There were seven Dodge Durango models and three sound systems available in 2004 so I took a guess and suggest that you check 25A FUSE 12 in the junction block.

get an adaptor kit for the stereo wiring. it will plug directly into the factory harness and vertually eliminate cross-wiring.

2004 Dodge Ram 1500, Infinity sound system. CD/AM/FM not working.

You most likely need a new radio. They go bad all the time in the Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep. Don't know how many of them I have replaced.

My back speaker doesn´t work,, everything is

It sounds like it's your radio if it's the OEM. To make it somple the factory radio had there separate amp muilt in each chanel so if one speaker went bad the others woudl still play. There is no quick fix other then haveing it replaced or if have it repaired.Good luck and just dubble check all the connections

Dodge durango cd changer

I had the same problem. Repair was more than replacing radio. Go to Crutchfield for good prices. Remember if you have the Infinity sound system you will need another $65 for a box to activate your cars amps and speakers.
