Question about 2003 Lexus RX 300
I just traveled 180 miles to the beach and upon arrival, both lights came on. I looked in the manual and checked the suggested items such as the gas cap and then took to Jiffy Lube for a quick diagnostic. Nothing else was open to perform the check. Was told the O2 filter was bad but that it could just be cleaned and didn't need replacing. As for the VSC light, the manual said not to worry. Now that I have returned and both lights are still on I'm wondering the proper route to take for repairs or just resetting the lights.
Need to take to a toyota or lexus dealer to find out what the code really is. the vsc light comes on every time the check engine light comes on. aftermarket scantools sometime will not give the proper description of the code that is present.vsc light is a vehicle skid control light. and do u mean o2 sensor.
