If your talking about the plastic overflow tank, possbly yes. I've had more success with a soldering iron carefully melting ther crack back together and filling with plastic milk carton. If your talking about the radiator then no it must be soldered.

Yes, this can be sealed.. use some Epoxy waterproof clay used to seal roof rain gutters. Put a decent amount of clay to solve your leak problem.

Can coolant be leaking into turbo?

Yes that can be a problem. i had this happen to my 04 Volkswagen Passat. A bunch of steam and blueish smoke came from the exhaust. The problem was that the coolant seal in the turbo was bad and it was leaking. I had to keep putting coolant into the holding tank. Had the seal fixed and that fixed my problem!

My Pontiac is leaking antifreeze from the breathing hose on the coolant tank, please help

I'm not completely clear on what you mean, but here are some things to check.
1. Check the hose from the radiator neck to the overflow tank for cracks or leaks. If it's leaking the tubing can be purchased at an auto parts store. It's very inexpensive.

2. If it's leaking a lot into the over fill tank this could be an indication that your radiator cap is leaking at the seal, allowing coolant to bypass the spring on the cap and through the hose into the coolant overflow tank. Replace the radiator cap, these are about $10.

I have a 2001 Chevrolet Suburban 2500 4x4 6.0 liter engine. This vehicle has engine oil cooler located the radiator tank drivers side. I have developed a coolant leak located where the upper threaded...

The procedure you are thinking about doing is the correct procedure but you need to know that there is a rubber seal behind the large nut. Best to remove the line, remove the large nut and replace the rubber seal. Overtorquing the nut will crack the plastic radiator tank. Double check BOTH fluid levels and conditions when finished.

I keep having to refill my coolant tank what do i need to do

There is a small hole under the extension behind where the pulley is mounted, most times barely visible. If you see any coolant there the pump seal is leaking. Many times it will show up better with the cap off, as internal pressure can sometimes push the seal against the shaft and temporarily stop the leak. If any coolant is found there,(sometimes it will run down the lower hose and appear like a bad hose or clamp) the pump needs to be changed. No, it is in no way related to a manifold gasket leak.
