Question about 1997 Dodge Caravan
Okay so The van will start and then will die immediately.. I have had SEVERAL codes come and go while trying to fix the van. The Fist codes were
P0601 Something ot do with the PCM
P0106 map or baro circuit range performance problem
P0107 map sensor voltage too low
So, I've replaced the MAP sensor. Didn't fix the problem.. I jsut bought this van aobut a month ago so I guess I just figured the previous owners kept up with regular maintinence... NOT so I check the plugs and wires (YUK) replaced those. The factory wires were still on this van.. That didnt' fix the problem.. So then I started thinking this might be a fuel delivery issue, so I replaced the fuel filter.. NOPE that didn't fix it either. Okay so now I got a new code P0121 Throttle position sensor So i replace it. NOPE not fixed. ergggggggggggggg Okay so I've taken the throttle body off and gave it a good cleaning and and put it back on. STILL NOT FIXED But i got a new code P0320 Not quit sure what this one is.......... So still convinced this is a fuel delivery issue I go buy the $200 fuel pump and replace it.. STILL NOT FIXED.
Can someone??? Anyone????? possibly help me?? It wont start so I can't take it to the mechanic. Its pulled all the way forward in my drive way so I won't be able to pull it down there and MOST importantly I wanna be able to fix it myself.. I hate paying someone to $100.00 / hr to fix my car..
ANY SUGGESTIONS anyone???
P0320 Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
Your crankshaft position sensor has failed. Sometimes it is possible that it's a wiring issue, but 95% of the time it's the sensor itself. I would check the wires that you put them back on correctly when you changed them and the plugs. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks for rating my response and for using FixYa!

You have a wiring problem (harness, connector, power, ground, pin tension, etc.) you have to find it.

click on the below links for code details.
all of the above codes seem to have a common cause, they all list a bad ecm (computer) as being a cause, and the last code P0601 points specifically to a bad computer. sorry for the bad news, hope this helps.
