Question about 2000 Isuzu Rodeo
After a few hours on the road, I stop for gas or a rest and my Isuzu Rodeo (2000- 50,000 miles)won't start. This happpens only after long trips, not neighborhood drives. After 40 minutes or so, the car starts again and appears to run fine. This happens all the time. Have been to mechanic, no one can diagnose the problem. Help please!
This problem sounds like you have a fuel pump over heating and shuts of the relay. When it cools off the relay kicks in and you can restart your vehicle. Replace your fuel pump and the problem will go away.
