Injectors not shooting fuel, fuel pump is working and there is spark

I have pressure from the fuel pump and spark, but the injectors don't seem to be putting out. Anybody have an idea which sensor is gone bad?

My 1993 Dodge Dakota 3.9l v6 4x4 magnum wont fire it will crank over but no fire? The fuel pump relay, crank shaft sensor , spark plugs and wires were replaced. I don’t know a lot about this no fireing...

check the compresion in all cylinders 100 psi (compression good) check the spark -check the fuel pressure.30 psi at gauge with switch on.(if no keep pressure with switch off injectors or fuel pressure regulator are bad
check the signal to the injectors (get little injectors tester at autoparts) if no signal check the ground to the injectors black wire
or the other wire (computer)= good signal to injectors and good fuel pressure and good spark (defective injectors)

Daughter's 1996 Mazda Protege won't start. Starts with starting fluid. Fuel filter and pump replaced. Fuel to fuel rail. NOID light shows injectors getting signal. Spark at plugs, new plugs. Ideas?

Well there's a few things causing fuel problems----roll over switch(no pump function)---pressure sensor and or pressure regulator sending info to ECM(no pump function)---bypass regulator(that sends excess fuel back to tank) maybe wide open--gas just going in a circle not building up pressure---since it runs on starting fluid it's defiantly fuel supply issue

I have a Ford Expedition XLT with a crank no start I changed the fuel pump and check all the fuses can somebody else tell me what may be the problem

A "crank, no start" condition is usually because either gas or spark has been lost. You changed the pump, but now you need to verify that gas at the proper pressure is at the engine's fuel rail. You would need a fuel pressure gauge tester for that- Autozone and others loan them, too. Or, do you hear the pump turn on with the key cycled to on, not start? It should turn on for 2 seconds to pressurize the fuel lines and the fuel rail. If it turns on, probably at proper pressure since you have a new pump, but never hurts to check the pressure. If it doesn't turn on for those 2 seconds with key in ON, then you will have to diagnose the fuel pump circuit. Post back for that.
Next thing to check is spark. Buy a simple spark tester at the parts store (real cheap) and hook it up to a spark plug wire, crank the engine over, and watch for a strong blue spark. Good idea to check more than just one plug wire-sometimes a bad coil will lose spark at a particular cylinder. If you have good spark (a blue, snapping spark), then assume the ignition system is good, and so then you would need to verify the injectors are putting gas into the cylinders-post back if you need to test the injector circuit.
If no spark, then the ignition system has a failure-this can be from a bad Ignition Control Module, a bad crank position sensor, or cam position sensor, among other things. Good luck.

year/make/model/engine size??? Do a fuel pressure test to see what the pressure is. Low/no pressure= poor spray

I have a civic 04 ex automatic the key don't come don't have spark and the injector not pulsing does the inmovilizer have something to do with this problem ?

just went through similar issue with a 99 accord spark would be out because of the crank sensor but wouldn't kill injector pulse there is what is called a main relay honda used it controls both the injectors and fuel pump my car wasn't getting fuel pump power if you pull relay down should be next to brake pedal under dash and 7 wires and pull internals out and check circuit board for burnt solder or cracked solder when i wouldn't hear fuel pump i would take and apply light pressure to circuit board then fuel pump would kick in the injector side should be 6 volts and fuel pump should be 12 volts i would change crank sensor and get spark to return and then trouble shoot injectors also my car had after market remote start and keyless entry and was causing the key not to be recognized i removed alarm and got the coded key to read then had to trouble shoot the other problems after rectifying others first

I have a 1987 ford ranger the engine turns over but it wont start

Spark at plugs? Fuel filter? Pressure on injector delivery line? Pressure relief valve? You may be able to measure fuel pressure at the pressure relief valve location. and return line. If you have spark, I'd say it's a fuel supply problem

Fuel injectors not shooting out fuel 93 gmc c1500 5.7

I would make sure your fuel pump is fully operational and is pushing the recommended pressure of 35 psi. You will need a fuel pump pressure gauge (tester). I would start here and them move forward.

1997 blazer has spark, new cam sensor, fuel filter..will crack over, but will not start. I tried starter fluid in the intake, and still does not start. any ideas?

Fuel pressure regulator probabaly flooding it when you turn the key forward it primes but the regulator just dumps to much fuel into the cylinders flooding the plugs pull a plug out after you try starting it if it dont start and see if there full of gas

1997 Saturn SL can't get it started Have replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, spark plugs, CPS sensor and coolant sensor.

Im not sure if this will completely solve your problem, but I will give it a try.

If the engine is flooded, crank the engine while holding the gas pedal to the floor for a couple minutes (or until it sputters or starts). This will get all of the extra gas out of the engine. Your plugs will be fine.

Check your fuel pressure with a test kit...they have a bleeder port that can purge the air out of the fuel rail. Its possible the old gas may have gone bad in 6 years. you may have to purge the old gas with fresh gas. couldnt hurt to put a couple bottles of fuel injector cleaner with your gas. Your injectors could be gummed up with varnish from the old gas.

Before you waste a bunch of money and time replacing good parts, get a code reader or have a mechanic hook up a code reader for you. This will help isolate your problems. If you are not getting a check engine light, the mechanic method may be better because their computers will give you more information than a handheld.
