Hi first thing to do is replace the" BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR " this controls the power and speed to the blower. And on trucks they are easy to get to to replace. And they are pretty cheap. At the part store they can give you a print out of location it is on the firewall or inside on the a/c heat box it is only 1 plug and 2 screws.

My 2001 gmc sonama heater doesn't work ..only blows out cold air...what's wrong?

This no heat problem is one off two things, you may be low on coolant and its not flowing into heatercore or the actuator motor that controls the blend door is bad, the blend door is a door in the heater boxs that opens or closes to give you hot air or cold.

I can turn my ac or heater to high and its barley blowing any air through the vents

sounds like a bad blower motor. fan blades may be detached from the shaft. shorted or bad ground in wiring/switch. check the motor by applying 12v directly to the motor

I believe there are TWO fuses for the heater blower. One for the lower speeds and one for the high speed ONLY. REcheck the fuses or refer to the owner's manual for the location...

1998 GMC K1500 Sierra X-Cab Z71, Concerning the A/C - Heater. The fan blows good just doesn't open the heater core valve to let the heat in, it stays cold,How can I fix it ?

the heater sustem is run off of a vacum from the engine, there are actuators that open and close the "valves" pull the vacume lines off one at a time( the coloured hoses) and find out if you have either no vacum or an actuator un hinged from the "valve" door.
this should narrow it down for you message me back and we can work it out.

Kia Rio....fan/heater not blowing air. Air conditioner/heater fan not working.

Check the fuses and relays for heater and AC. If good , a fusible link wire could have burned out.

Check the magnetic clutch is engaged on front of a/c pump, have the motor running, a/c on and fan on high, if the centre hub is static the pump in not switched on, this can happen when the gas pressure gets low.
