Question about 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer
Whenever i turn on the ac, my temp gauge goes up... as soon as i turn it off it returns back to normal
I am not sure how high the gauge is going when a/c is on ? When you turn it on the fans should turn on as well. The condensor is a heat exchanger for the a/c . It will always raise the temp but the fans should turn on with the a/c. I am sure you have checked coolant level and that it is okay. If the waterpump impellers are bad this can cause a poor cooling condition. If the radiator is clogged it can cause it. as well as a thermostat staying closed to long.
