Hex on drain plug is broken

The hex on my radiator frain plug is broken and can not open to replace. Please need help.

Use a reversed drill bit or you can get a screwdriver red hot and stick it into the plug and then let it cool into there

Where is the oil drain plug on a 2002 BMW 325i

It is located on the oil pan, please be advised the oil pan is also the casting that houses the front differential, and the engine oil drain is the hex nut furthest to the rear of of the pan . You will need a 17mm wrench to remove the hex nut . After you drain the oil, DO NOT over tighten the plug . The proper torque is 25 newton/meters or about 20 foot/pounds

Sure we can....

To avoid serious burns, allow engine coolant to cool down first.

Radiator Drain Plug:

Climb under the front of car and look for a 'see though' hole in the body/shroud (possible on driver's side).

You should see a screw plug, connecting to the botton tank of your radiator. Depending on the age of radiator, the plug will be either a WingNut type (undo by hand), or a 13mm hex bolt (with a phillips head) - you may need to use a long sock/extension to undo the plug, but ensure you do not overtighten as it's only plastic.

Note: if you simply cannot get at your drain plug, then just remove the bottom radiator hose as an alternative.

Where do i find drain plug for raidiator 99 taurus. i want to reaplace fluid

hello there:
you should have a drain on the bottom of the radiator you will have to look for it on the driver side of the car you should see a twist style valve you will have to open it to drain if no valve you just may need to take the lower radiator hose off and drain it this way just remember to remove the radiator cap to allow to drain a little faster...hope this helps you out please leave a review thanks sincerely D.Jones

How do you drain coolant in a 1999 Chevrolet Suburban? specifically from the engine block?

The easiest way to drain coolant from engine is to remove lower radiator hose from water pump and let it run out. There are no drains on the engine.

Cannot find coolant drain plug

It is located at bottom of radiator, you will need 1/2 inch square drive or a 3/16 inch hex drive to open drain valve. Usually on pass. side at bottom end of radiator.

Radiator drain plug

It's probably located under the splash guard and should have either an internal hex head, an external hex (like a bolt head), or both. You can also drain the radiator by pulling the lower radiator hose.

I broke the hex head on radiator drain plug in 98 ford Windstar

ha . you will have to dran it from the will have to pull the hose. whitch is on the right side if i rember correctly. it would be a good i dear to get the van up on a lift or car ramp ok . good luck

Radiator!! needs help where's the drain LOL

Most radiators use a plug now instead of the old petcock valve. The plug is on the very bottom of the radiator facing the ground. Most I have seen have a large phillips slot in them. You can loosen it just a turn or so till you get some flow, if you remove it all the way watch for washer/gasket and/or "O" rings you will have a leak if you lose something. good luck cb
