Change new gasket 1995 altima valve cover?

How easy to change new gasket 1995 altima where the sparkplug or oil cap is located. I dont know what you call that whole big metal thingy... Is it the Valve Cover? It is sputtering from the front and is making a mess in the front hose and radiator. When i look at it closely, all i need to do is take out 4 spark plugs, 8 or 9 screws and the whole thing will come off so i can replace the gasket?? Seems pretty easy access that won't hurt my knuckles cause its all on top surface lol. make sense? Anyone done it on their nissan Altima 1995?

I have Nissan Altima and oil is coming into the intake manifold and smoking too

The valve cover gasket seals are probably old and brittle and they are not sealing in the oil. This happens to most vehicles as they get older. With coil on cap plugs, oil will fill up the spark plug tubes and it will start to missfire. New valve cover gasket seals are probably needed

Oil leak into no2 sparkplug hole missing due to oil. how easy is this to repair?

You need to replace the spark plug tube seals in the valve cover. Very easy once you get the valve cover off. Make sure you get the valve cover gasket kit that includes the tube seals. Victor Reinz makes it: Part number VS50059

It maybe a valve cover leak, the retangular covers (2) the sparks plugs are located along the side, if you see oil around you will need to have the valve cover gasket replaced

Oil leaking into sparkplug holes on rubber boots

Buy a new valve cover gasket set (and a small tube of silicon high temp sealer). It comes with new rubber seals for each sparkplug hole, and the cover perimeter.Use a little silicon glue on the gaskets to hold them in place. Take your time,do the work with a cold engine in a shaded area. Clean all the oil off the wires and make sure all the old gasket rubber is cleaned off.And check to make sure before you put the cover back on that no old gasket pieces are in the engine.

I have oil in the sparkplugs

You may need new oil rings on your pistons. Have you checked your compression? Have you checked for any gasket leaks? How new is your plugs? You may also want to try a synthetic oil or 10w 30 instead of 5W.
