Where is the coil pack located at on a 1987 Nissan Pulsar. Also spark plugs been changed car still not starting

The link will show you what it looks like. If you follow the leads back from the spark plugs, that will take you to the distributor 9a circular cap with 5 wires). In the centre of the distributer, there is a single lead, follow that one and it will take you to the ignition coil. 1987 Nissan Pulsar NX Ignition Coil Hitachi

On a BMW 325iS I'm replacing timing belt but I can't get the reference sensor wiring harness. Any idea how this is attached so I don't break it taking it off?

If it is the small wiring harness that runs across the timing cover then it simply un clips (these are prone to breaking of the clips as the heat makes the plastic brittle). I have used cable ties to re secure the wiring , as long as it clears all moving parts it will work.
