I had the same thing on my 2004 Envoy and it was the blower motor resistor. Dealership wanted $240 to replace and I did it in 20 minutes for about $50. Bought the part at NAPA. I found out by searching on Google how to replace it. Hope this helps.

I have an 02 Dodge Intrepid whose blower motor will continue to run after I turn the ignition off.

Will the wipers also work with the ignition off? If so, possible ignition switch problem. If wipers don't work, suspect shorted blower motor resistor or controller

The a/c on my 2010 Mercury Milan quits blowing after about 2 hours of driving. Any ideas?

Sounds to me like the A/C clutch is no good and out of adjustment. You should goto your nerrest junkyard and get a used assembly take the clutch off then you learn how it comes off and install it on yours the save the pump for later use if needed. The clutch should only have a .010 air gap after install between th inner elctro magnet and the clutch plate it's self.

I have a 2002 Envoy. The blower motor sporatically will not start. When it does run the speed adjusts fine and everything works as expected. I think there may be a dead spot in the motor winding but...

when it does not work, rap on the motor, it that gets it going, repalce it. if not, gently turn the ignition key and see if that affects it, the ignition switch could have a bad contact.

My brakelights work when ignition is off but not when it is on what could the problem be because all other lights work and fuses and relays so im not quite sure

Hello! The Ignition Switch has one set of contacts that power Brake lights, And Heater Blower Motor...It is the Orange wire in the ignition switch plug...Turn on the Blower Fan and turn off the ignition key...Does the blower continue to run? If so the problem is that set of contacts in the ignition switch...
If not, I'll take it from there...Send a comment............Guru..Saailer

The blower for the a/c will quit and start up on its own. Sometimes when you have it on high, you can't adjust it down. If you turn it off, it will not turn back on.

Sounds like the blower motor is getting worn out, next time it does that, hit the blower motor, if it turns on, replace it.

Truck started and is running, but the key is locked in ignition

unplug the electrical connector to the igntion coil will make the car to quit running.
I think it's a mechanical problem with the ignition lock cylinder. it's required to remove the steering wheel to get to the igntion lock cylinder.
at least get the car to quit running so you can try to get the key to turn by keep on turning the key and move the shifter and tap the brake at the same time. hope it will get loose some how. good luck
