it may be a fuel injected engine.... it may not have a carb.
have you tried putting about 5 gals of gas in the tank and restart?

Your 95 Blazer does not have a carburetor (correct spelling too) It is fuel injected so injectors are used for each cylinder instead of a carburetor. If you run out of fuel and your vehicle is facing uphill when that happens you should have some fuel in the tank left. When leveling at a level position the vehicle will start again. You see the fuel pump is in the fuel tank and fuel is needed at all times to prime when starting. If on a grade the fuel goes to one end if only a gallon or two is left and the pump will **** air only causing a stalling problem I added all this in just so you remember this incase it ever happens to you

By the fuel pump relay is a test wire having a connector on it. You can hot wire that to the battery positive side to test. You must have silence to hear it if working. Before trying that with complete silence around you first with your door open turn your ignition key to the on position and listen for the pump start primimg. They all do that upon turning the key on. If its making a noise like a faint whinning sound its working. The next step is the oil presser sending swich mounted on the engine. When oil pressure reaches the normal PSI the switch cuts off the fuel pump and lets the computer take over of the fuel needed to the fuel injectors

You must have the fuel pump checked out to see if it has proper pressure. Loosen the fuel line off the fuel filter pointing towards the engine and turn the key on. Have someone watch to see if a stream of fuel come out of the filter. If not replace the filter and check again. If nothing comes out the fuel pump is defective

Carburator choke wont set on 1984 honda hatchback when pumping the gas pedal. car wont stay running

Most carburated engines you don't pump the gas pedal, you slowly press it all the way to the floor one time and release it, then you attempt to start it. The problem that you are describing is an indication that the carburetor needs to be rebuilt. The choke plate has a latching mechanism that is connected to a heater coil, if there is excess wear on the parts or the heater is bad, it has to be replaced

I can't tell you anything specific but black smoke indicates incomplete burning such as not getting enough air or too much fuel. A quick check of the air filter wouldn't hurt but it's probably something else.

New starter new alternator new fuel filter car wont start add very little gas to carburator step on gas let off of gas turn key it starts and stays running

sounds like you have low fuel pressure.if your adding gas to carb & the car starts & runs ok
you need to verify what the pressure is(KOEO) key on engine off.but you need a pressure guage to do this.some parts houses have a loaner tool policy

I had just replaced my starter a couple days ago on my 96 grand jeep cheroke v8, but even before i did i started getting this check battery on the little screen and the check guages light would come on. ...

If the battery voltage gauge goes to zero, it may be a bad connection at the battery.
Batteries generally last an average of only 3 years, but they will go bad gradually until the voltage drop on starting will drop below levels that the car can run the starter.

Try a new battery, they're not too expensive at Walmart or Sears or a local auto parts store.
Try the largest CCA capacity battery you can buy and you won't have regrets, in my experience.

Good luck on this repair.

My truck wont run. Why?

If it is flooding it might be a fuel pressure regulator, when it floods hold the pedal to the floor until it revs up, this should clear out the gas and get it started but the problem will remain until the fuel pressure regulator is checked or replace it is located at the beginning of the fuel rail on top of the motor it has a vacuum line going to it. Replace the vacuum hose first also if it appears to be wet with gas replace it. If it checks out ok or problem persists pull out a spark plug and have an assistant turn over the motor as you observe the spark it should be a bright purple or blue color if not it is a weak ignition issue repalce the plug wires and plugs along with the distributor cap and rotor. If problem still persists replace the O2 sensor and ignition module.

Temp guage barely moves and runs rough just off idle

Try a full tune up.. get Bosch platnium+4 spark plugs and Acel wires, do the fuel filter and air filter(i suggest K&N) buy some fuel injector cleaner or use Marvel Mystery oil. The ECU could e gone but hard to diagnose if the car needs a tune up.
