Replace the A/C exansion valve

Need to replace the expansion valve on my '95 Toyota Camry. Do I have to take the dash out to access the expansion valve? What will I need to remove to get the expansion valve out?

I know where the Expansion valve is located, I am just unsure of the best way to get to the valve. I have taken the blower out and the blower housing, but there is still a screw at the top that I can not reach. I am coureous if I can access it from the driver side?

The expansion valve is located in the thin ac line which is the liquid line. The location on your car to me is unknown for I never worked on one

Is the TX valve the same as an expansion valve for a Toyota Camry 1994?

Yes, Thermal Xpansion valve. Failure can certainly involve sticking shut. Locations shown here, p8 and p53. The receiver drier would be routinely replaced if the TX valve had failed that way.

Do i need to replace my expansion valve in my evaopurator of my toyota camry 2001 model in when changing the compressor

You should not have to replace the expansion valve, but you should replace the receiver/dryer. Also, cut open the old dryer and test for acids, then carefully measure the quantity of oil and replace as needed.
You will need to evacuate the system and test for leaks, before recharging.

95' Toyota camry. I have limited access to the expansion valve. But how do i actually remove the expansion valve itself from the lines.

long needle nose pliers will do it.if it is really stuck. apply air pressure to it first and see if it blows out, be carefull because oil comes out with it. then if it is really really stuck, add some heat to the tube with the air pressure

Where is a/c expansion valve on a1995 toyota camry

should be inside with the evaporator. will have to evacuate the system, and the pull the assembly out from under the pass. side dash and split the case to access it. Don't attempt if you don't have a/c experience. A/C under pressure.

Where is the A/C expansion valve located in 94 toyota camry

The expansion valve is located on the AC piping which is in the evaporator box , under the dashboard. The entire evaporator box must be removed to gaiun access to the expansion valve. This is not an 'easy' job.

It is attached to the back wall of evaporator. You have to remove the glove compartment, blower unit and evaporator to get access to the expansion valve.

Location of the expansion valve on my dad's 95 toyota camery 2.2L

You can try accessing the expansion valve without tearing out the complete dashboard assembly by removing all the panels/molding that secures the glove box on the passenger side.

Hope this helps.
