When your car is idling, with the A/C off, and you turn the A/C on, to you hear the clutch on the compressor kick in?

And I'm sure the serpentine belt that winds through and over all the pullys turns it as well?

Have you checked both heater and A/C fuses?

Air con in a car is just like a refrigerator at home

It has a compressor and coolant gas and a matrix to allow the warm air to be drawn over it so that it can be cooled down

In the cat there is a thermostat which tells the Air Con when to work and when to sit idle.

So your problem can be that it need a gas recharge , the compressor is no longer man enough to shift the coolant around the matrix or the matrix is blocked or the thermostat has taken a holiday.

You need to take it to a specialist who has all of the re-gassing kit and the tools to do the work , Sorry !!

What cause my 2000 dodge neon to stop on me and now it wont even turn over. and all of the spark plugs is cover in oil?

it is possible that your neg battery terminal could be losing contact or coil could have stopped working and im sure the oil on the spark plugs has a bit to do with the running issue . You need to change the valve cover gasket make sure nothing is cracked clean up the valve cover and engine side surface install valve cover gaskets and bolts torque em down and see what happens youll probably have to replace the spark plugs or clean them up real good

03 grand am ac wont blow cold air

Two things are very likely to be your problem. Freon or compressor. Turn on the ac on cold and see if the compressor is engaging, if it is and stops and goes or if it doesn't. try to check the compression on the low side of your ac, the smallest plug where you service the ac. Or take it to an ac professional to get it refilled or checked. Remember, just because its blowing air, it doesn't mean its working. There are fans inside the car that push the cold air inside your vehicle and most of the time these will work, but that's not the only part required to blow cold air inside your car, the compressor is what makes the air cold.

Make sure your fan clutch is working. No fan, no cooling of the condenser, no heat dissipation, no cold air. Start the truck and make sure you feel air movement, a lot.

My 1995 deville codes tell me I need a new MAP. Where is it located on my 4.9 engine?

I think these pictures should help. Hope it does. Make sure the vacuum line that goes to it is not real loose, dry rotted or leaking in anyway. This will pop a code as well. Good luck....

Your AC system is supposed to shut down if the engine is hot, as a safety device-make sure when the ac is running , the radiator fan is blowing-it may not be, caused by either a bad relay, blown fuse or a bad fan motor. Make sure your antifreeze is fully up to level, and if you haven't done it in the past 2 or 3 years, get the cooling system serviced with a new thermostat-cheap insurance, you do NOT want to overheat that aluminum engine, because if you do, it will be toast.
