Question about 2000 BMW 3 Series
Well my car seemed to be working fine till summer came and the car looses its cooling and starts blowing hot air then makes a sound as if the damper is opening n then it blows cool air.This keeps on repeating at durations.Plz help

check for power on the small wire on the starter with the key in the start position, if you have power, replace the starter

Sounds like your fan is not working. If it is electrical, may be bad relay, fuse or fan motor. If it is mechanical, most likely the clutch is bad.

u find the tensional roller n remove the cap. inside it has the nut commonly 16mm. rotate the nut clockwise and u ll see the belt wold be untension.
hold the nut n remove the belt.tq

top of the engine you will see a 36mm hex fitting, if you are changing the oil you must undo all the way first before drainnig oil as if not oil will not compleatly drain
