This is in reference to the 98 Saturn Wagon that I broke the plug off in. unfortunately the plug broke off right bellow the hex head, leaving the threading, part of the ceramic, and the electrode in there. My concern with buying and using an easy out is of losing little bits of ceramic and the electrode down in the engine... :-/

I have a pair of needle nose vice grips and would try them, but can't reach in there with them. The plug sits down in a hole around 4 1/2 inches down and the hole is only around an inch and a half wide...

    Whatever you choose, good luck.

Considering where it's broken, an extractor, or possibly some needle nosed vise grips is the only solution to remove it without tearing the cylinder head off. The electrode or ceramic bits should be the least of your concern. You can tape a straw to a shop vac and put it in the cylinder to help remove any particles that may fall.

If you can still get a socket on it, you should be able to remove it.

If you know someone with an air compressor that can produce 90 PSI you can blow it out. Its a chance to take although I would use dum dum or spagetti sealant from 3M to get all scrapes inside out. It comes in a long blue box and used for sealing blower motors, & body seams. Ever remove a door trim panel before? The sticky string like spagetti is on the door holding the plastic sheet on the shell. Its sticky enough to do the lob although you can not see a thing inside after you think its clean enough to try starting. Its a gamble anyway you look at it unless you remove the head

I have a 2006 saturn vue 6 cylinder and a plug is stuck. How do you get it out wiyhput breaking it off in the head#?

Don't worry about it breaking up. The base is all metal, not likely to break up. What is of concern is that the spark plug threads in the cylinder head don't get messed up when removing a stuck plug.
Use some liquid wrench or penetrant around the spark plug, and let it sit for about 20 minutes. Then put socket on the plug and wrench it out. Sometimes the upper part of plug, the ceramic top, will break off, but you can still remove the base part. Buy a tube of anti-seize compound, and use it on the threads of new plugs. You will never have a stuck plug again.

My saturn vue 2008 hatch i add open & in locked mode, it xoes not respond to key ?

GM usually puts a mechanical release for there electric doors, but it seems they did not for that model. And the door panel is impossible to remove without destroying it in the process. BUT you can pull it loose in the middle and gain access (very carefully) without breaking the panel.

I suggest seeking some one that has experience in this matter to solve the issue, as inexperience may cause your rear panel to be broken appart.

My engine rattles when starting idles funny and shakes

you may have a broken or stuck valve that may have also broken a rocker arm.the valve cover will have to be pulled to inspect the valve train system to see if this is the problem.these are known to have this problem due to build up on the back of the valve causing it to stick in the valve guide and break things.

No, the transmission can be removed without doing that. You will need to support the engine.

Removing radio from saturn to install stero

The plastic surround cosmetic piece which goes around the radio and climmate controls just snaps out to the rear with some gentle pulling. There will be then exposed two small bolts on either side of the radio. Unscrew them and the radio pulls out, the antenna wire and plug for the wiring harness will have to be disconnected. Note you will have to have an adapter for your panasonic to plug it into the GM wiring socket. If you stroll over to ebay motors you can find these adapters and find many replacements in case you break the cosmetic piece when you remove it.

How to preform a tune-up on my 2009 Saturn Vue

It has a maintenance recomendation from the manufacturer for replacement of the spark-plugs at 100,000 miles. You don't list mileage or V6 or L4 cylinder. Make sure engine is cold because the cylinder heads are aluminum and can be damaged if plugs are removed hot or overtightened upon reassembly. Remove spark-plug wires and replace spark-plugs. Sometimes the wires break when you remove them and will require replacement. If you coat the inside of the wires where they connect with the plugs with dielectric grease it will help prevent the wires from breaking upon future disassembly.

1991 dodge dynasty rear window removal

I have never been able to remove sealed in glass without breaking it. But in theory if you can get a guitar string through the sealant and pull it through like a cable saw you might get it out. I've tried 15 times, and have 15 broken windshields to show for it. good luck
