Possible broken wire in harness going from door to body. It is in the rubber boot near the hinges. This is the most common area to cause your problem.

Is there a relay that controls the driver side window for a 2002 Chevy Monte Carlo. The window goes down but doesnt go up. Only the driver side

There is no seperate relay that controls the up function for your vehicle.
I would suspect a power switch as the root cause of failure, as the window runs down as designed.
Good luck

Electrical problems with window switch, motor and relay replaced. window switch keeps blowing on driver's side.

Usully caused by a wire rubbed through. Common areas are within a few inces of switch, at window channel bracket inside door or where wires pass into car behind kick panel
