If you have to ask you are about to have problems adding fluid is something that you shouldn't have to do there is a small resivoir straight ahead of the clutch pedal in engine compartment or it shares fluid with brakes from brake fluid resivoir. Brake lights

cheack your brake fluid resivoir, or if its manual also check your clutch fluid resivoir. if they are O.K it may be a faulty park brake switch or brake sensor switch.

I have a Clio 172 sport but the rear brakes are not working, however the handbrake is fine? As all the braking is at the front of the car this is damaging the front discs?

Most of your braking occurs at the front of the car, anyways, but you need to get those rear brakes checked...

If you have a split (front-rear) master cylinder, check that. Did the fluid level drop enough at any time such that the system may have "sucked air" into the rear system only?

When I'm Driving the Brake light comes on.

You might want to check your brake fluid level. When your level is low it triggers the light on reminding you that your breaks need to be looked at. If your fluid level is fine, it may be a defective fluid level switch or float inside the master cylinder resivoir. Hope this helps you!!!

Brake fluid

open the hood. go to the drivers side. you should see a large metal what looks to be a tub.from the tub there will be a metal pipe running from it. on that pipe there should be a plastic esivour with a lid on it.... the resivour should have MIN and MAX on the side of it. that is your brake fluid resivour and thats where the brake fluid goes... just remove the cap and fill it up. but be sure not to fill it up past the MAX line on the side.
