The fan relay(resister) that control fan speed is probably burned out. When this occurs it will only blow at high speed because its getting 12volts directly to the fan

Where is the heater blower resister located on a 2004 bonneville gxp

Why ? Does the blower work on high ? but no other speeds ! If it doesn't come on at any speed it's not the resistor . Does the vehicle have automatic climate control or manual ? Automatic doesn't have resistor , has a blower motor control processor . HVAC Blower Motor Circuit You need to test , not guess !

A/c blower works, but only on high.

ITS THE SPEED RESISTENS THAT HAS BURNED,THE FAN HAS ONLY ONE SPEED , AND THE RESISTENS LOWER THE SPEED IN STEPS , GET A NEW ONE AND IT SHOULD WORK

2003 pontiac vibe blower only working on high speed only now, all the other speeds quit at different times, I read about the blower resistor and replaced it today, fan still only works on the high only....

The blower resistors are the most common cause when it comes to the problem your describing however there could be other causes. It could be a bad speed switch or the wiring between the switch and resistors.

2005 Pontiac Vibe heater fan working on high only

My 2005 Vibe did the same thing it was the heater resistor. It is located to on the firewall behind the glove box on the lower left side of the blower assembly. Two 5.5mm screws hold it in place (1/4 inch socket works too). I used a socket attached to a socket swivel to replace mine in under 10 minutes. Heater now works as good as new. I purchase mine online for $30 from rockauto.

Blower fan only works on high

CHECK THE HVAC CTRL FUSE.

WITH A TEST LIGHT CHECK THE BLOWER RESISTOR FOR POWER ON THE YELLOW, TAN, PURPLE, AND LIGHT BLUE WIRES. THE ORANGE WIRES CONTROL THE HIGH SPEED CIRCUIT. DO THIS FOR EACH POSITION OF THE BLOWER SWITCH.

THE BROWN WIRE ON THE HVAC CONTROL CONNECTOR 1 POSITION B COMES FROM THE HVAC FUSE 20 AMP. NO POWER ON THAT WIRE WILL CAUSE THE BLOWER TO NOT FUNCTION ON THE LOWER SPEEDS.
