Coolant pressure build up not circulating

Hi i have an isuzu trooper 3.1td 1994 and have a problem with pressure building up in the cooling system so it is not able to circulate i have been advised that it is the head gasket but do not want to do a strip down until i am 100% sure that is the problem.there does not appear to be water in the oil and the car seems to start ok and does not run rough any advice greatly appreciated thanks

Definately sounds like a head gasket, which is allowing compression into the cooling system.

My 1997 540i bmw is still overheating after a replaced water pump and radiator and thermostat. What now. Also heater is blowing cold air.

You m?y have a blown head gasket letting exaust into the cooling system. The pump cannot push exaust. Try a liquid head gasket sealer before replacing gasket. But first open the radiator cap and start the engine. Watch for the coolant to bubble. Top engine and add coolant or water. Some times after doing work on a cooling system you may get air in the system and need to *burp* the systems.

Why does the water in my radiator empty out after 30 minutes of driving?

You have a cooling system leak..

Most likely a split hose or water pump seal.

If you need to drive it , top it up and leave cap loose, this will stop pressure build up and slow down the coolant leak..

You will need to pressure check cooling system for lactation of leak.

Water coming from exhaust of my 1994 isuzu trooper why

Water out of an exhaust pipe is usually just hot gasses condensing on the surfaces of cooler metal exhaust pipes, and is normal. White steam or "smoke" however is in indication of coolant entering the combustion chamber and boiling off during ignition. It is superheated water vapor (more than 212 degrees) and turns to visible steam as it cools when leaving the exhaust pipe. This is the result of a cracked engine block or gasket and can be an expensive fix. Check and monitor your coolant level if unsure of the cause. Also check for milky colored oil on the dipstick - this is a sign of coolant entering the crankcase - also not good!

I have a 1994 Toyota Camry XLE 4 cylinder. its been having problems overheating so I was just putting antifreeze and water in it for about a month. I replaced the coolant sensor and the thermostat, still...

Sounds like a leaking head gasket. The head gasket can allow coolant to leak into the cylinders, and compression to leak into the cooling system.

Throw out bearing wont snap to pressure plate

Bleed the system like you would a brake system. It'll build pressure and start working like it should.

Auto gearbox overdrive wont engage oil level ok fiddled with wires on box n thermostat it worked but has stopped again thanks jon

My 94 wouldn't hold it's gears and would drop down and over rev. My problem was the oil. It should be Dexron 2 and some body had put the wrong oil in. It was drained refilled run for a while and drained again, then used for about 2 weeks. Drained it again etc and it's been fine ever since.
Hope this works for you, good luck.

Fule pump

Generic to most pump controls, down increases pressure. If you are going to do this, I suggest you get a pressure gauge and connect it to the system and find out what the recommended pressure is. Turn adjustment in small increments 'till you reach proper pressure.
