Question about 1997 Volvo 850
Battery died. got a boost last night, but didn't run it long enough. this a.m tried another boost but got nothing. do i need to replace my battery with a new one. 12volt - does it have to be a volvo battery or will any brand do? Can I do this myself?
The worst thing to do to a battery is to put a boost charge on them. A trickle charge is best. yes you can change it yourself just replace it with the same group size that you have. Most places that sell batteries will charge you a core fee if you don't bring in the old one. just take the old one in & the store should be able to match it.
