Take the Numbers off the computers and verify that thay are the same and or interchangable. The dealer should be able to tell you or a good Auto Parts Store.

That 2nd # is a version #. so there's been 10 revisions so there's a good chance that they're not compatable. In my experience usually there is only 1 to 3 versions that will work. though there's alot of vehicles that use only 1 version. I hate to tell you but dodge had alot of problems with the interpid. like I said the dealer should or a good auto parts store sould be able to tell you if the versions are compatable. Car Quest stores have a cataloge, It's their ECC line. the catalog lists the compatable versions for most cars. the only other option possibly would be to open up the computers and swap the Eproms, BUT that could be risky, sometimes the version updates are a hardware update and the software (the PROMS) are not compatable.

1997 intrepid blowing engine countrol fuse when standing on gass to pass

If it only blows the fuse under hard acceleration you may have a section of wiring harness that has rubbed through somewhere and the circuit in question could be making contact with a piece of metal that is causing it to short out and blow the fuse as the engine moves slightly under the higher than normal load. I would take a good look at any wiring harnesses that run along the top, front, or sides of the engine and check for anything that is or has been rubbing against something. I have found that the wiring harness that runs just ahead of the crankshaft pulley is quite vulnerable to damage and it may be a good place to start looking.

The trunklight bulb doesn't light in my 1997 Chrysler Concorde LX1; when I put in a bulb, it lights up for a second, then blows a fuse. What could be the problem?

There is a short in the bulb holder and so when the lamp is switched the shorting blows a fuse. If there is no fuse blow after the bulb is removed then there is some shorrt within the bulb holder which must be replaced. Also check the rating of the fuse to match the rating o of the circuit.

94 intrepid keeps blowing rad fan fuse

the relays will not cause fuses to blow. you have a problem with the fan motor itself. replace that it should take care of your problem.
