Remove the sight shield from the fuel rail. (it's the large plastic shield that dresses up the engine) As you stand in front of the car the alternator is located on rear left side. In front of it is an electrical connector to the MAP sensor. Remove it. Press the PCV valve cover down and rotate it 1/4 turn counterclockwise. It is actully on the intake manifold. Lift the cover, the upper O-ring and the spring from the housing. Remove the pcv valve and the lower O-ring from the intake manifold.
PCV . Positive Crankcase Ventalation Valves are always located in the valve cover pans with a hose attached usually leading to the air cleaner, or some other vacuum source..
Open hood, top left side between the valve covers. There is a "funky" plastic housing that turns counter-clockwise (less than 1 inch of travel). then pull straight up to reveal the "missing" pcv valve.
On the passenger side of the upper plenum you will find the map sensor clipped into a cap that rotates off. The pcv valve is under this cap and is spring loaded, they come apart and go back together kinda hard. Let me know if I can help you further.
