Squeaking front suspension

The noise started about 6 weeks ago in Finlands winter period where we get temperatures as low as -22C.I've had the front shocks replaced, but the noise returned the following day !!.I'm now thinking about the anti-roll bar bushes. Any thoughts?

wish it was that simple....this is a SUSPENSION problem.

The car is a '96 GT4 ...ST205. The noise sounds like steel on steel. If i bounce the suspension i can hear it,but up to now,i can't locate it.

    Thanks for your help anyhow.

Lightly press on the brake when you hear the squeeking. then it's just the brakes pads rubbing. then have them inspected. good luck

2007 cadillac esclade ext front end squeaking.

well it can still be anything, locating a steering/suspension noise can be hard. Based on what you typed, what first comes to mind is the steering pump is worn out. If it is more of a low whining sound instead of squeaking, its probably the steering pump.

How do I fix my F150 Ford from squeaking on the front driver side.

It's your universal joints. Your universal joints have become warn and what's happening is as you accelerate its moving and the loose universal joints are moving which is causing the noise. It occurs at low speeds because of a slight wobble as speed increases the wobble goes away and so does the noise. It's best to change the font and back at the same time you can find them at your local part store starting at $19.99 each. As for your front end lubricate it real good. Hope this was helpful.

Have a 1997 Mountaineer a the front makes this loud squeaking sound when turning/running over speed bumps or any time front suspension is working

It can be bushings in the front sway rods or the control arms. The tie-rod ends or even ball-joint sockets can make noise if they are dry.

Knocking noise around the front passenger wheel area!?

Do you feel it in the steering wheel? if so it could be the intermediate steering shaft. If not it could be a sway bar link or bushing.

My 2006 Chrysler Sebring touring suspension recently started squeaking after my winter tires were installed.what could be the cause of this?

the tire might be rubbing on the strut assembly but i betting its just cold grease when it gets cold the grease gets thick and the rubber bushings in the suspension get stiff making squeaking noises i would take it to a oil changing place and have them grease the chassis that should help.

Slight noise on the suspension a service 2 years ago stated the buses were wearing is this a common problem still passing MOT;s

I know of ony 1 issue of noise for your suspension, most times the noise comes from the sway bar bushing, it is a squeak, is the kinda noise you hear? it is worse when the car is cold.

Front Noise!

I have a 2000 Honda Prelude SH with about 110k on it. I have been having all sorts of squeaks from the suspension over the past 1 or 2 years. It was the front ball joints that were found to be causing the noise. I also had an upper control arm and a tie rod end that was squeaking. The reason for the squeak is the sealed design of the ball joints and the fact that they cannot be lubed, and eventually just wear out. I could get it to make the noise by pushing the car up and down at the affected corner. I've been disappointed in the way the suspension on this Prelude hasn't really held up well. I've never had so many suspension components wear out on any of my cars before. But, your issue definitely sounds like ball joints to me. Those are the same symptoms I was having.
