Question about 2003 Honda Accord
Have malfunction indicator lamp on how i cac fix that
Go to autozne and have them do free engine computer scan. They will tell you fault codes.
Or, try disconnecting the battery for 1/2 hour. Then reconnect and drive 10 miles. It may have fixed itself already.
MIL light on is not a big issue. only if flashing

SOURCE: Malfunction indicator lamp
The Malfunction Indicator Lamp or MIL (Also called the check engine light or service engine soon light) comes on when the on board computer detects an issue with the operation of the engine or transmission.
The best thing to do is to take the vehicle to an auto parts store like Autozone and have them hook up their scan tool to the vehicle and read the code. They can read it, tell you what it is and also tell you what the code means.
If it is pointing to a faulty component or sensor and you replace or repair the component the the light will go off on its own after the computer sees that the malfunction is no longer present.
You can have the code cleared, but if whatever caused the light to come on in the first place is not addressed then it will just come back on eventually.

Take your car to your local autoparts store and have them pull the codes - this is free at most stores. Post the codes when you're done. This can be caused by anything - even as simple as not tightening your gas cap (you should hear the clicks - it doesn't damage the cap).

The check engine light also called the malfunction indicator comes only when the computer control unit (called the PCM) senses a fault in the electronic controls of the engine and/or the emission system, there are about 200 possible faults that turn the light on, to know what has developed a problem you must have the system tested, this is called an OBD2 fault code test, Kragen and Autozone parts stores do this testing for free.
