You can buy a simple light connector at most auto supply that requires you to splice it into existing wires. Very simple.

Where is the power distribution center for the blower

This is a common failure on 1999-2004 WJ models with the AZC (Automatic Zone Control) system. The connector on the blower motor control module overheats, resulting in intermittent or no operation of the blower motor. Mopar released a connector harness repair kit to fix the problem. The damaged connector is cut off and new wires are spliced into place. Only the green wires from the kit are used. One end of each of the 3 green wires goes into the new connector end that is provided. When inserting the wires into the connector, the locking spring tabs should be on the bottom. There is a gray plastic retainer that is then installed around the three wires that were just inserted into the connector.

Well i towed the jeep in, it stalled in the post

Regulator is in the computer...change the whole thing and it should be OK.
Scrapyard stuff is fairly inexpensive. Also make sure the field wire isn't grounded in the harness anywhere!

I tow my 2005 Jeep Wrangler behind my motor home. I installed a Jeep trailer towing wiring kit to the rear lights. the bought a long trailer wiring kit and ran it from the front of the Jeep to the Jeep tralier wire plug. Pluged it in and pluged the other end into the motor home trailer light recptacle. I used only four wires plus ground. There is probably a way you could tap into the wiring harnes under the hood but not having a wiring diagram this is the best I could come up with and all lights do work. You can buy a test plug with led lights that plugs in both male and female, real handy for checking connections.

Wireing for a trailer 87 yj

ID each wire in harness and splice. After making rough connections, check to make sure you have it right, then solder connections and carefully tape to seal. (Would be nice if they put a hookup plug there)
Also: if you will be towing any distance or heavy item, consider a trans cooler. Jeep cooling systems are marginal at best, even pulling themselves along!
