i have a 2000 dodge intrepid (3.2 v6) when we turned the car on this morning, we noticed the odometer not working and the gas gauge acting funny. it also kind of felt like the transmisson was in like 2 or 3 gear when we were in first.( we have a automatic with different gears as well)

dear friend-it sounds like your vehicle went into limp mode,you can disconnect the battery in order for the ECU to reset,then if the vehicle feels ok then take it for a diagnostic test
