(3.2 v6)odometer not working, gas gauge also acting funny. the rpm feels like we are in 2 or 3 gear when we are not.

I have a 2000 dodge intrepid (3.2 v6) when we turned the car on this morning, we noticed the odometer not working and the gas gauge acting funny. it also kind of felt like the transmisson was in like 2 or 3 gear when we were in first.( we have a automatic with different gears as well)

Dear friend-it sounds like your vehicle went into limp mode, you can disconnect the battery in order for the ECU to reset, then if the vehicle feels ok then take it for a diagnostic test

2000 dodge intrepid es ...turn key on..all other lights come on like normal...but the dash light will not come on for the gauges(which all work fine) when i turn lights on at night. i have no idea how

Well that seems like a pretty simple but aggrevating fix, either the ground wire or power supply wire contact has been broken. The odometer, is it coming on? I am assuming all from this model year have the digital odometer which lights up. First thing I'd do is look under the dash at every wire that might have come loose due to being kicked by a foot or a plug damaged somehow. If none of them are damaged or obviously broken then check the back of the light switch next and then last look at the back of the guages.

Odomete rnot working and gas gage

if the other gauges work the fuse is good, if they both stopped working at the same time it is most likely a faulty cluster.

2000 pontiac bonneville how do i reset brain. it runs rough sometimes idles high n shifts funny n i loose all oil pressure on gauge. i think its the vehicles brain just wondering if i can reset it

Normally you clear the codes with a scanner or code reader. You could disconnect the battery and see what happens, but I doubt trying to reset it will help.
Sounds more like a wiring problem or something inside the computer.

My 2002 intrepid runs great when cold. Replaced spark plugs, gas cap, and oil change. Still, when it gets warm it seems to jump and misfire. I take my foot of the gas and on deceleration the rpm gauge...

do a self test to access the codes. put the key in the ignition and turn to "on" (not cranking just the dash lights on) then turn the key back one click. Do this a total of 3 times.

off-on, off-on, off-on. The codes will either blink out on the check engine light in pairs of numbers (ending in 5,5 ) or will display on the digital odometer. Have a pen and paper ready to write down the numbers.

post your codes here.
