Problem for Toyota 1986 Pickup 4WD
Difficulties in starting my diesel hiace
hi there, i have a 94 toyota hiace 3.0diesel efi turbo.
have done a service on it three months ago but just recently it has started to struggle to start in the mornings, i probably try and heat the glow plugs about 4times before cranking but still it cranks for like 2 2 and a halfminutes before it can start. changed glow plugs yesterday but issue is still the same. please help.

- hi Bradthanks for that info, i will go trial it out and will get back to you, hopefully with a good result, fingers crossed. yes, sorry i forgot to mention that it is a 3.0D EFI turbo Toyota Hiace Super Custom Limited.

Clem, you didn't say, but your car may have a fuel injection system, and in that case, this article speaks to the morning difficulty problem and the diagnosis:
