Try new sparkplugs. The guy who told you to get rid of it sounds like he drank too much energy drink this morning. You probably won't get much resale from that car, so it might be worth your time to fix it. A couple of new car payments might make you wish you had.

This guy is wrong. Black smoke means to rich[to much fuel]. Your motor is not shot. Something is wrong with the engine management[sensor]. White or blue smoke is a fatal problem.

I unfortunately have some bad news for you, you can either get rid of the car as soon as possible, or you can spend a lot of money buying and haveing a new engine put in, or the engine rebuilt...........your cars engine is burning oil, check your oil and you most likely will find that it is low due to it going up in smoke in your cylinders........sorry for the bad news, but i hope this helps you understand what is wrong with your car........

95 ford probe car runs ok but blows whitish blue smoke as accelerate

That is probably the head gasket leaking. White smoke is from antifreeze going through the exhaust. The engine compression is pushing the water out of the radiator.

My car is smoking really bad fromm the exhaust pipes white thick smoke smells like gas this problem didnnt occur until i had my oil changed and my tranmissio flush but they over filled my tranmission

When the vacuum modulator goes, the engine vacuum draws ****** fluid into the combustion, causing white smoke. It is located on the side of the ******, circular in shape, with a vacuum hose connected to it.

Diagram for intake manifold and fuel lines93 ford probe 4 cylinder

I have a 1994 Ford Probe with a Mazda MX6 2L 4 cyl engine.
When I started the car, lots of white smoke comes out of the exhaust.
Thinking it was an oil problem, I had new valve stem seals installed, plus a new head gasket etc, The 4 cylinders all have excellent equal pressure.
This did not solve the problem, as I now realize that the white smoke is actually water steam, and not oil.
The engine fuel mixture is running too rich, as the plugs are
very black.
Is it possible that the problem could be due to something wrong
with the inlet manifold? Could a broken manifold gasket cause these symptoms.
I do not have a car manual, but someone said that they think there is some sort of water pipe which is connected to the inlet manifold. (Which might account for the steam)
Can anyone please give me some advice on this problem.

Looking for a picture of the engine of a 1996 ford probe

no, if the oil pressure is eratic the first thing i would check is the oil pump. unless lots of black smoke is coming out the tail pipe. in that case your engine seals are bad and you will have to do a compleate rebuild on the engine.

Added 3 quarts of oil now white smoke is coming from exhaust

you have to drain the excess oil i would suggest a complete oil change and oil filter. TAke off spark plugs put some wd 40 on each sparkplug hole start the car without any sparkplugs on ir. Reolace sparkplugs with new ones and the car should run again. I would also suggest to check for faulty sparkplug wires and bad air filter. While you are at it go ahead and check fuel filters.
