Question about 2005 Hyundai Accent

1 Answer

Car is firing but will not start.

My 2005 Hyundai Accent has recently just cut off and will not start. Firing to plugs, smells like it may be getting to much fuel. Any ideas as to what the problem may be?

Temp gauge says cat is overheating, but it's not hot and doesn't smell like antifreeze

By cat I assume you realize this is a warning for an overheating catalytic converter not the engine, the Cat is locate in the exhaust system and can cause a fire.

Car is only firing on two cylinders i put a new igination coil

have a mechanic check the timing on the car if its off you should know it will make a definite click ticking sound that increases with the rpm and also check the position of the coil on the camshaft!
